Doctor Who and ER star Alex Kingston is the second celebrity confirmed for the new series of Strictly Come Dancing.
The much-loved BBC show will return this September on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
Alex is a well-known actress with over 40 years of experience in TV, film, and theatre. She became famous worldwide for playing Dr Elizabeth Corday in ER for eight years. She even won a SAG Award for that role.
Doctor Who fans will know her as River Song, also known as The Doctor’s Wife. She played this iconic role alongside three different Doctors. She still continues the character in audio dramas and books.
Alex has also appeared in many other shows, including:
