Here’s every book title spotted in Taylor Swift’s Life of a Showgirl announcement

Taylor Swift just announced her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl.

She revealed the news while chatting on the New Heights podcast, hosted by her boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce.

The announcement went up on Instagram at exactly 12:12 a.m. on August 12, 2025.

In the post, Taylor stood in front of a neatly arranged bookcase, which immediately got fans excited to figure out what books were on the shelves.

 

The books on the shelf cover topics like art, design, architecture, and photography.

Some of the titles include Dieter Rams: The Complete Works by Klaus Klemp, which showcases the famous German designer’s work.

Another is Design Monograph: Eames by Naomi Stungo, which dives into the designs of Charles and Ray Eames

The art section stands out with several notable books.

There’s Jean-Michel Basquiat. 40th Ed. by Eleanor Nairne and Hans Werner Holzwarth.

There’s also Chagall, Lissitzky, Malevitch: The Russian Avant-garde in Vitebsk by Angela Lampe.

Another is Ruth Asawa Through Line, which takes a deep look at the modernist sculptor’s career.

Contemporary artist Ai Weiwei is featured in Ai Weiwei. 40th Ed. by Hans Werner Holzwarth and Ai Weiwei, which explores his life and work.

The architecture and design section has some standout books.

One is Casa Wabi by Bosco Sodi, Martino Stierli, and Tadao Ando, which looks at the artistic residence in Mexico.

Another is Ralph Lauren: In His Own Fashion by Alan Flusser, which explores the designer’s career and influence
